The Constitution of India speaks of equal rights for women. Yet prophets and men are not seen equally in society. In daily life, girls are neglected in the family and society.

After the birth, the daughter has to be neglected and oppressed. There are horrible incidents like trafficking of women. Various plans have been taken to prevent these inhumane acts against women. A number of laws have been enacted to protect the rights of women.
