James Bratt's essays on Abraham Kuyper are bound to become standard introductory texts, as he covers Kuyper's life and thought in some depth in an accessible length. Benjamin Miller begins a badly needed conversation on the exegetical problems at the bottom of 'Reformed Two Kingdom' theology, zeroing in on the influence of Klinean covenant theology on R2K theologian David Van Drunen.
The other essays are valuable, also. Despite one or two puzzling formatting problems, this was a fine volume, containing rigorous research and engaging writing. Recommended for anyone interested in Reformed and Protestant theology. Bradford Littlejohn holds a Ph. D in Theology and Ethics and is the author of several books and articles.
