Recent findings by US-based art historian Adriano Marinazzo suggest that the graffiti of a curly haired man near the front door of Palazzo Vecchio, the historic town hall in Florence, was created by the Renaissance artist Michelangelo. After the death of Lorenzo de Medici, Michelangelo left the Court and, soon after, the arrival of Savonarola and the expulsion of the Medicis from Florence brought a huge change for the young artist.
