How long will H-1B holders need to wait to see results? On the first day of taking office, President Joe Biden presented immigration reform legislation to Congress and signed a slew of executive orders covering varied areas, including immigration. These changes are in the form of memos, executive orders, proclamations and a new immigration bill.
However, the COVID related travel bans affecting H and L visas among others and certain immigrant visas both extended until March 31, have not been revoked as yet. It is anticipated that announcements about these will be made soon.
