This role will support our legal team, based in our head offices in Ashford, Kent. The role: The role will give you variety and breadth of opportunity to broaden your commercial legal experience, not only in terms of the nature of the work but also link with our diverse range of foodservice businesses within the UK and Ireland. Being a sharp, intellectually curious and natural problem solver, you will be provided with enriching complex challenges to solve, scope for negotiating high value contracts, capacity to implement your ideas and the opportunity to observe the impact of your contribution first hand.

The role will work within the busy in-house legal team, supporting the senior counsel in the team, in providing legal and commercial advice to the businesses. The team will support you in your role and will work with you to develop your knowledge and understanding of law in a commercial setting. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of your customers using your collaborative style and commercial acumen to develop solutions Give Them a Brake Maintaining the Legal add real value to the businesses.

Building on your strong negotiation skills, you will fully engage with customers and suppliers to enable you to deliver positive outcomes for the businesses, while maintaining strong relationships with third party partners, as well as internal colleagues across the business. This is a busy role, and whilst you will be working within a close-knit team, you will have autonomy with your own commercial case load to manage.
