There has been a marked rise in screen usage amongst all ages for obvious and essential reasons. Using screens as a primary means of relational connection during key periods of childhood development is particularly alarming. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we strategically and consciously create space for young people to move their bodies, be outside, and connect face-to-face with peers. The New Normal Navigator is a free app that offers practical support to parents of a diagnosed child and connects them to further services that may be helpful for their family. Our Happiness Hub is the online home for Camp Quality's services and programs. The Hub offers kids isolated by cancer treatment, hospitalisation, or living rurally, access to puppet videos, games and craft activities, wellbeing resources and virtual book readings so they don't miss out. The Happiness Hub is a digital dose of positivity accessible to all Australians, promoting the laughter, social connection and positivity that is the heart and soul of Camp Quality.
Kids can connect live with one of our much-loved puppets via a minute online 'playdate' using their personal device such as a smartphone or tablet. Puppet Digital Playdates are tailored to the child's age and interests.
