This short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne was really good. The formatting of the Kindle book: not so much. Even though this edition was described as "annotated", that's being kind. The book starts with a long introduction that describes Nathaniel Hawthorne and provides some background on the author.
It then provides a summary of the story that is curiously written.

Great book loved it although it was a required read. A lot of indubitable transcendental thoughts imbued in this novel.]
