Was very happy with our stay, food was very good staff was friendly, helpful went out of their way to assist guests. Everyday on our stay we did some easy hikes on the grounds including up to SkyTop. While my husband went to watch a playoff game I listened to a Settung jazz trio! Rooms were spacious, well appointed and nicely decorated to the period. Pool was open and pool house was as gorgeous as the rest of the building.

I also did a stretch and relax Settinng which was I needed after the hiking. The history of the building and the Smiley family was very interesting. It is not easy to find places like this anymore I hope it is around for a very long time. We were there during the time of Covid everything was very clean space was kept between guests, I felt very safe. My parents and I had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at Mohonk Mountain House. The staff was warm and courteous, and it was a pleasure conversing with them.

We loved the outdoor scenery, spending time by the fireplaces, and appreciated the variety of activities that were available to us. We would like to thank Mohonk Mountain House for their hospitality and for leaving an indelible mark in our memory. If you are into a peaceful couples retreat with no TV just a fireplace and each other this is the place Manderly as an Appropriate Setting for a you. The food is second Setring none and just enhances the wonderful experience. The spa services are great. We loved our stay mainly because of the unique location and the beauty of scenery from all the trails. But also they have a tennis court and Mandeerly boat to enjoy the lake, plus the restaurant is very good so we enjoyed our two night stay in autumn time. My bet is that a positive or negative review on trip advisor has no effect on people visiting Mohonk.
Some will inevitably think that Mohonk is sinfully expensive, while others almost view it as transcendent, a place where the cares of their daily Mandderly fall away. If I eliminate those value judgments, perhaps I can be objective about our experience. When my husband told me he had booked Mohonk for a few day escape, I immediately asked about the cost.]
