Watched Feb 04 , It has taken me a long time, but I finally watched this movie. Unfortunately, this was the theatrical release and I would still like to watch the producers cut. This is the 6th film in the Halloween franchise and the final film of the Thorn trilogy. The plot follows the return of the seemingly indestructible masked murderer Michael Myers, who is targeting Tommy Doyle, a young man tied into the legacy of the killer and his connections with the Strode family. As the supernatural elements of Michael's macabre abilities are explored, his longtime adversary, Dr. Sam Loomis, is also back in yet another attempt to stop the psychopath's brutal rampages. I know some fans of the franchise had a problem with the way the flick retconned the mythology and ignored every other sequel. And I also saw some people complain that the film had one too many jokes. With that in mind, I was wary of a sequel and kind of wanted the franchise to stop there.
