The doctoral program in educational leadership was the first statewide doctorate offered at WSU, and is a cohort-based program designed to meet the needs of school administrators across the state of Washington. In addition to these degree programs, field-based superintendent and principal certification programs are offered. This is achieved through collaboration among universities, schools, families, and local, regional and global communities in a manner that reflects the ideals of democracy, social justice, and ecological sustainability.
