We applied for an intern to work as a Marketing Intern for over the summer. The primary aim of the role was to produce a booklet showcasing the student experience of the Lloyds Social Entrepreneurs Trade Up programme.

The primary focus of the role was to work with the students who had taken part in the Lloyds Social Entrepreneurs Trade Up programme, in order to Entrepreneur Case Study their journey in an interactive booklet incorporating social media links and profile pictures. This was followed by multiple activities completed in support of the SSE Cornwall team.

She Entrepreneur Case Study extremely personable from the beginning, and was able to communicate effectively who she was, what she needed to achieve and what the timescales were. She was really excited about the project and this came across in every aspect of her work. Communication was such an important aspect of the project, and one of the most difficult things about Entreprenuer.

The intern created a good bond with the students and was successful as a result of this. She also had to build trust in a very short space of time with a well-established cohort of social enterprises and she was able to do this quickly and effectively. The project was completed brilliantly. She was unable to Entrepreneur Case Study with any of the students in person.

Case studies from students and graduates who took part

She worked with portrait pictures for each student case study and one of her tasks was to consider how these portraits could be displayed in a more innovative and creative way. She came up with the idea of using a selection of different pictures to create a new image which combined all Entrepreneur Case Study elements. Our interns gain an experience of working in a social enterprise and what this means, as well as what makes them who they are. And in return, they bring a high level of skill into the organisation. Although we have the skills present within the team, we did not have the capacity to dedicate to this piece of work.

As a result, this project has been of real value to the organisation. We felt that we were fully supported through the whole process by Jo in the Career Zone and her team.

It was a very beneficial placement and the internship provided real pleasure to everyone in involved, as well has having been of benefit as a skills exchange. Was your intern ready for the workplace? Did the intern achieve their objectives?]
