I thought the character progression was great. The problem I had was that the story progressed a bit too slowly for me.
I understand that this is probably more 'real life', but in the context of a movie, I want things that gauge my interest and maintain it. Some scenes were unnecessary and some scenes could have progressed faster. However, by the end, I did not feel cheated of my time Poliitician money.
