However, this is only one side of a two-sided coin. The other side is societal dependence, the ability to be helped by others opinions and serendipitous events.

As much as we hate to admit it sometimes, we Hrlp human. We eat, drink, shit, and fuck. Occasionally we spit, and rarely I hope vomit. Often times we work click most of us walk on two legs, barring some disability. We are also dependent on all of these things.

Dependent on food, on water, other people, and God. Occasionally there are challenges we cannot solve ourselves. When our thoughts become increasingly erratic and our stress levels whether we notice them or not are running high, these are indicators that we need help — we need to ask for help.

Asking for help is one of those human things we do from time to time. Much like walking on two feet or belching.

How to Overcome Your Reluctance to Ask for Help at Work

We are not alone for a reason. Behind the face of your best friend, parents, or even near-strangers is the answer you are looking for. All we need is the courage to ask. When we ask for help, we are making the admission that we need something beyond ourself. This takes courage to admit, courage that can be Asking for Help to the ego but infinitely restorative to our higher self.
