Anyone with experience with vision therapy? Had a concussion a month ago. My eyes are ok unless I need to watch anything on a computer screen or TV. Then I kindve feel nauseous. I have a few questions. I live in NYC and the costs here are rather expensive. So Im wondering if those that have had vision therapy could let me know the details. Costs, number of visits, and ultimately if it was helpful. Much thanks. I did 6 months of vision therapy twice a week.

It helped immensely. My auto insurance paid for it, though, so I'm not sure how much you'd pay for it. I had a horizontal nystagmus, trouble focusing, nausea and headaches from concentration and bright lights. I still have a little bit of terrible focusing at times when I'm fatigued but they gave me some activities to do when this happens.
I had light therapy where they have you look into a light in the dark to help alleviate sensitivity. Could you share some practical tips you learned from your time in therapy?
I've been looking into visil therapy and I think it might help, but I just don't have the funds at the moment. Go here of it required technology you can't get from home unfortunately. If you can find them, for focusing there are charts that you can use where you read back and forth between a large chart far away and then from a small one in your hand. You could probably make a set yourself on Microsoft word. It is kind of like the eye sight chart but all one size instead of gradually My Experience With A Vision smaller.
