Detroit police shot and wounded a man Friday night in the area of Schaefer Highway and West Chicago on the west side, Fox 2 reports. Police said patrolling officers spotted what they believed was a robbery in progress outside a store. When they confronted the man, police say he pointed a gun at them, prompting officers to fire.
