Governo Federal lança campanha de prevenção a acidentes de trabalho
O ministro da Saúde, Ricardo Barros, participou nesta terça-feira (11) do lançamento da Campanha Nacional de Prevenção de Acidentes de Trabalho (Canpat), realizada em parceria com o Ministério do Trabalho. O tema deste ano, “Acidentes de Trabalho – Conhecer para Prevenir”, destaca a importância do conhecimento e análise dos dados relacionados a acidentes de trabalho para que seja possível descobrir as principais causas, sua relação com o tipo de ocupação e os grupos de trabalhadores mais vulneráveis, permitindo assim a adoção de medidas de prevenção mais eficazes.
O Ministério da Saúde vai fortalecer a vigilância e aprimorar os dados nacionais sobre o tema. Está em elaboração pela Coordenação de Vigilância em Saúde do Trabalhador da pasta Portaria que tornará obrigatório o preenchimento do campo Classificação Brasileira de Ocupações em todos os Sistemas de Informação do Ministério da Saúde. O objetivo é que a informação seja especificada em todas as fichas de atendimento do SUS para que a análise de cada caso seja mais efetiva, contribuindo assim para as ações de Vigilância em Saúde do Trabalhador. A previsão é que a portaria seja publicada ainda no primeiro semestre de 2017.
Para o ministro Ricardo Barros, a prevenção ao acidente de trabalho é um assunto que deve ser tratado com muita importância. “Acidentes de trabalho impõe um custo alto à Saúde e à Previdência, já que muitos desses trabalhadores não conseguem retomar a atividade produtiva. Para que nós possamos ampliar a avaliação dessas questões, nós teremos o preenchimento da atividade laboral na ficha única de saúde de cada paciente. Assim, terremos a capacidade construir dados para conseguir relacionar os atendimentos de saúde com a atividade laboral. Isso vai facilitar a análise efetiva do que é importante nesse sentido para o nosso país”, destacou.
Entre 2010 e 2015, o Ministério da Saúde registrou 439,4 mil acidentes de trabalho grave, 276,6 mil acidentes de trabalho por exposição a material biológico e 30,5 mil intoxicações exógenas (exposição a substâncias químicas) relacionadas ao trabalho.
A campanha faz parte do movimento Abril Verde, que será realizada durante todo o mês e envolverá ações de diversos órgãos federais. No âmbito da Saúde, serão promovidas palestras, seminários e outras atividades educativas nos Centros de Referência em Saúde do Trabalhador (CEREST), além de eventos em praças e outras áreas públicas, envolvendo vários profissionais do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) e trabalhadores de outros segmentos. Durante todo o mês, prédios e monumentos públicos serão iluminados na cor verde, uma forma de demonstrar a importância da adoção de uma cultura de segurança por todos os trabalhadores.
“A consolidação de uma cultura de prevenção depende de cada um de nós. É essencial que o cidadão brasileiro perceba que, quando acontece um acidente do trabalho, toda a sociedade é impactada”, afirma o ministro do Trabalho, Ronaldo Nogueira. “Ocorrem no Brasil, em média, mais de 2.800 mortes de trabalhadores por ano, oito por dia, uma a cada três horas. Cada acidente de trabalho que acontece é catastrófico em termos individuais, familiares e sociais”, acrescentou.
A Organização Mundial do Trabalho (OIT) instituiu, em 2003, a data de 28 de abril como o Dia Mundial de Segurança e Saúde no Trabalho, em razão da explosão de uma mina de carvão na cidade de Farmington, no estado da Virgínia, nos Estados Unidos, em 1969, que resultou na morte de 78 trabalhadores. A lei nº 11.121/2005 instituiu no Brasil o Dia Nacional em Memória das Vítimas de Acidentes de Trabalho, cuja data também 28 de abril.
ASSISTÊNCIA
A Rede Nacional de Atenção Integral à Saúde do Trabalhador (RENAST) foi criada em 2002, pela Portaria 1.679, com objetivo de disseminar ações de saúde do trabalhador, articuladas às demais redes do Sistema Único de Saúde, na ótica da promoção, assistência e vigilância para o desenvolvimento das ações de Saúde do Trabalhador. Fazem parte desta Rede os Centros de Referência em Saúde do Trabalhador (CEREST), que têm como objetivo realizar apoio para o desenvolvimento das ações de saúde do trabalhador em todos os níveis de atenção, bem como executar ações de fiscalização, investigação e análise de causalidade entre o trabalho e o adoecimento. No Brasil, atualmente existem 214 centros habilitados, sendo 27 estaduais e 187 regionais.
Em 2012, a fim de fortalecer as ações em saúde do trabalhador, o Ministérioda Saúdepublicou aPortaria 1.823, com ênfase na Atenção Integral à saúde, na Vigilância, na Promoção e Proteção da saúde do trabalhador e na Redução da morbimortalidade, a partir da análise dos modelos de desenvolvimento e processos produtivos.
